Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with daily living activities and treat every person with dignity
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support
Take and document vital signs, report any concerns to the nursing team promptly
Maintain accurate resident records and communicate observations to nurses and supervisors
Help maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices
Support mealtime and activity participation to promote resident well-being and social connection

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania certification preferred or eligible)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Compassionate, dependable, and able to work collaboratively with a care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of activities of daily living and resident hygiene needs
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and observations
Basic charting/EHR familiarity or willingness to learn
Safe patient handling and mobility assistance skills
Clear communication and teamwork skills to coordinate resident care
