Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities and provide compassionate bedside care
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and documenting observations accurately
Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper technique
Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe patient environment
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to keep skills sharp

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
CNA or PCT certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification encouraged
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and fulfill facility immunization requirements
Compassionate communicator who works well as part of a team
Basic clinical skills and comfort working directly with patients

Education

High school diploma or GED required; CNA or Patient Care Technician certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and vital signs measurement
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
Ability to follow care plans and accurately document observations
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Comfortable with physical tasks such as assisting with transfers
