Shift Type: Days, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (10-hour day). Schedule may include 8-, 10- or 12-hour day shifts; guaranteed 40 hours/week. On-call rotation 4-5 times per month including approximately one weekend per month.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with and support cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, and IR suites
• Prepare and operate relevant cath lab equipment and ensure procedural readiness
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and collaborate with the care team to maintain safety
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in Epic to support continuity of care
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond professionally when called in
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards during cases
• Support throughput across multiple labs (11 labs) to help the unit manage high daily volumes

Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI — required
• BLS certification — required
• Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) experience or equivalent proficiency in cath lab practice
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cardiac cath/EP/IR settings
• Proven familiarity with Epic or other electronic medical records
• Comfortable with on-call duties (minimum ~3 days/month on-call noted) and flexible scheduling

Education

• Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or equivalent technical training preferred
• RCIS (CCI) certification required
• BLS certification required
• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, EP and IR case workflows
• Skilled with common cath lab and EP/IR equipment and instrumentation
• Ability to read and interpret hemodynamic data and monitor patient status
• Proficient charting/documentation in Epic
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and crisis-response abilities in acute care
• Competence in sterile technique, patient prep, and procedure room setup
