Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adult ICU and CCU patients
• Assess and monitor complex, unstable patients using advanced clinical judgment
• Perform accurate EPIC charting and maintain thorough electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Float to Med/Surg units as needed while maintaining ICU/CCU standards of care
• Support families with clear communication and compassionate care updates

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Prior traveler experience preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC charting and other electronic medical record workflows
• Experience working in ICU and/or CCU settings
• Comfort and ability to float to Med/Surg when required
• Experience working 12-hour night shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment skills and familiarity with ICU/CCU protocols
• Comfortable with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Skilled in medication administration, IV management and emergency response
• Proficient in EPIC documentation and electronic charting best practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-acuity settings
• Adaptability to float between units while maintaining safe patient care
