Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the medical-surgical unit during night shift
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes across the lifespan
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with hospital policy
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Respond promptly to patient needs and clinical emergencies with calm, evidence-based action
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles to tailor care to each patient
• Mentor and support unit staff to promote a positive, learning-focused environment

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Colorado (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum two (2) years of RN experience preferred; Med/Surg or ER experience a plus
• Cerner EMR experience required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Basic computer skills and comfort with electronic documentation
• BSN preferred

Education

• BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure in Colorado required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and assessment skills
• Solid understanding of nursing procedures and Med/Surg best practices
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and electronic charting
• Ability to interpret clinical data and respond to changing patient conditions
• Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-paced environments
