Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift), per-diem schedule (days as scheduled / as needed)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate basic care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor resident condition and communicate changes clearly to nursing staff
- Support safe and respectful mobility and transfer procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and resident interactions
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification in the state of Maryland
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Comfort working night shift hours and providing hands-on resident care
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous long-term care or assisted living experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatrics and common age-related care needs
- Ability to safely assist with transfers, ambulation, and ADLs
- Good observation skills to notice and report changes in resident status
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
