Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging: X-ray, CT scans and fluoroscopy with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Support intraoperative imaging in the OR and collaborate closely with surgical teams during orthopedic procedures
- Provide imaging services across specialties including oncology, neurosurgery, pediatrics and multiple outpatient clinics
- Demonstrate autonomy and sound clinical decision-making in a sometimes fast-paced environment
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain meticulous documentation of procedures
- Deliver compassionate patient care, explain procedures clearly and ensure patient comfort during imaging
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification — required
- ARRT (CT) certification / CT Certification — required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) — required
- Proven ability to perform fluoroscopy, OR imaging, orthopedic imaging, X-ray and CT
- Comfortable working independently with strong critical thinking and time management
- Experience in diagnostic radiology across multiple specialties is highly valued
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT protocols and cross-sectional imaging techniques
- Fluoroscopy operation and intraoperative imaging experience
- Expertise in X-ray positioning and orthopedic imaging techniques
- Commitment to radiation safety principles and quality assurance
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
- Ability to produce consistent, high-quality diagnostic images under pressure
