Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor Cath Lab cases, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
• Operate and troubleshoot GE imaging equipment and hemodynamic (hemo) systems during procedures
• Provide skilled cardiovascular patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate directly with cardiologists and the Cath Lab team to facilitate smooth case flow
• Respond to on-call notifications within a 30-minute window to support emergent needs
• Document care accurately in EPIC and participate in unit-specific charting processes
• Support pre/post procedure care and assist in OR cases related to Cath Lab procedures when needed

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) required
• Current Kansas state license required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) current certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of previous Cath Lab experience caring for cardiovascular patients
• Comfortable with on-call duties and a 30-minute response time
• Valid driver's license (DL must be submitted) and ability to be in-state for orientation week

Education

• ARRT (R) - Certified Radiologic Technologist (required)
• BSN not required for this role

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and Cath Lab workflows
• Proficiency with GE imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and acute care documentation
• Strong scrub and patient monitoring skills in a procedural environment
• Ability to assist in Pre/Post procedure care and support OR cases for Cath Lab patients
• Calm, clear communication during high-acuity events and teamwork under pressure
