Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic exams using proper positioning and imaging techniques
• Operate and maintain X-ray and digital imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety protocols and verifying patient identity
• Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to optimize patient imaging workflows
• Accurately document exams, maintain imaging records, and manage PACS uploads

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (R) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) — may be obtained upon hire if needed
• Previous experience as a radiologic technologist or X-ray tech preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus and highly desired for this role
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic principles and safe radiation practices
• Proficiency with digital radiography systems and PACS workflow
• Excellent patient positioning and imaging technique skills
• Good communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Ability to triage imaging needs and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
