Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans that provide clinicians with the information needed for fast, accurate diagnoses
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring imaging quality and patient safety at all times
• Follow imaging protocols and radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff
• Prepare and position patients compassionately, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the Diagnostic Imaging team to deliver seamless patient care
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in PACS and other systems
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate with service teams when needed
• Contribute to a positive, team-first culture by supporting colleagues and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential required
• Current ARRT (CT) credential required
• Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work weekend day shifts and provide patient-centered care

Education

• ARRT RT(R) and ARRT (CT) credentials required

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Proficiency with PACS, CT consoles, and digital imaging workflows
• Strong patient positioning and radiation safety practices
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize and manage a weekend caseload efficiently
• Attention to detail for image quality, documentation, and infection control
