Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered rehabilitation nursing care to adult and/or geriatric patients
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per facility protocols
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document clinical changes promptly
• Educate patients and families on recovery goals, mobility techniques and discharge planning
• Participate in timely and effective shift handoffs to maintain continuity of care
• Advocate for patients to optimize functional outcomes and quality of life

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (eligible to practice in Tennessee)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience as indicated in the job posting
• Experience or interest in rehabilitation nursing
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and adapting to travel assignment routines
• Ability to complete facility onboarding and required credentialing for travel staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Foundational rehabilitation nursing principles and functional recovery focus
• Strong patient assessment and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with PT, OT, speech and other rehab team members
• Effective communication with patients, families and interdisciplinary staff
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
