Shift Type: Variety of 10-hour day shifts: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM; Every other weekend (Saturday-Sunday), 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM; Holidays as assigned. Day (rotating weekend schedule)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform sterile compounding accurately and safely, following hospital protocols
- Manage Pyxis activities including deliveries, inventory, outdates, and monthly audits
- Conduct crash cart checks and perform timely refills to ensure readiness
- Triage phone calls and respond to medication messages promptly and professionally
- Dispense medications using Epic and Pyxis, documenting in the EHR with attention to detail
- Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams across hospital services
- Participate in orientation and department training to maintain high-quality care standards
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required
- Colorado Pharmacy Technician License (must be submitted)
- BLS (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience with sterile compounding experience
- Comfortable working across all hospital service areas (ER, ICU, inpatient, imaging, cath lab, hospice, etc.)
- Able to be in-state for orientation week and submit a valid driver’s license (60-mile radius requirement)
- Friendly, flexible, and hard-working attitude to fit with a busy acute care team
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with Pyxis systems (deliveries, inventory, outdates)
- Proficient with Epic EHR medication workflows
- Strong sterile compounding skills and aseptic technique
- Medication dispensing and inventory control best practices
- Effective phone triage and clear clinical communication
- Attention to detail for crash cart checks and medication safety
