Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Day (5x8-hour schedule, no weekends)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, height and weight
- Prepare exam rooms and instruments so providers can focus on care
- Record patient history, medications and allergies in EPIC charting
- Verify insurance, complete authorization forms and support billing workflows
- Perform follow-up phone calls and patient communication with professionalism
- Assist providers during ENT exams and procedures within your skillset
- Handle routine office duties to keep the clinic running smoothly
- Float between nearby clinics (Issaquah/Ballard) as needed to support patients
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months (0.5 year) experience as a Medical Assistant; adult outpatient experience required
- ENT/otolaryngology experience preferred but not required
- CMA certification preferred; BLS preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC charting and routine clinic workflows
- Must be local and open to temp-to-hire conversion; candidates must provide a statement at submittal confirming openness to permanent hire
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- EPIC charting and electronic documentation
- Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature)
- Height/weight measurements and accurate vitals recording
- Preparing patients and exam rooms for provider visits
- Recording history, medications and allergies clearly and completely
- Insurance verification, authorization forms and basic office administration
- Clear patient communication and follow-up phone call skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
