Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures accurately and safely
- Operate CRT and fluoroscopy equipment in accordance with facility protocols
- Ensure patient safety and radiation protection during imaging procedures
- Prepare and position patients for exams with compassion and professionalism
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver clear diagnostic images
- Maintain thorough documentation, complete required competency testing, and follow health screening requirements
- Adhere to infection control, immunization, and occupational health policies
Qualifications
- Active CRT license required (no limited license)
- CRT Fluoro and ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- DCI/BVP certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology/fluoroscopy experience preferred
- Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam as part of onboarding
- Completion of required health screenings and immunizations (e.g., TB test, COVID-19 vaccine, Hep B, MMR, etc.)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven experience with fluoroscopy procedures and radiographic techniques
- Strong patient positioning and imaging workflow skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety and dose-reduction practices
- Comfortable following competency and specialty exam requirements
- Able to complete required occupational health screenings and documentation
