Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic radiographic procedures following department protocols
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain CT equipment safely and efficiently
• Obtain and process images, ensuring accurate transmission to PACS
• Provide compassionate patient care — prepare patients, explain procedures, and monitor comfort
• Adhere to State and Federal regulations and facility policies (HFAP/TJC/CMS)
• Participate in PI/QC activities to drive continuous improvement in imaging outcomes
• Serve as a primary interface with patients and care teams, delivering timely imaging services

Qualifications

• Current CRT issued by CDPH (required)
• ARRT-R certification (required)
• Current BCLS/BLS (AHA)
• Fluoroscopy permit from CDPH (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Venipuncture certificate (must obtain within 3 months of hire)
• Graduate of a JRCERT- or ABHES-accredited radiography program
• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
• Proficient computer skills and comfort with PACS and image management

Education

• Graduate of a radiography program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging techniques and diagnostic radiographic procedures
• Fluoroscopy operation and safety practices
• PACS image processing, transmission and troubleshooting
• Venipuncture and patient preparation best practices
• Regulatory compliance (State & Federal, HFAP/TJC/CMS)
• Participation in PI/QC activities and quality imaging workflows
• Good communication skills and excellent patient interaction
