Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients during night shifts
• Continuously assess and monitor unstable patients, responding to changes promptly
• Interpret and act on hemodynamic and ventilator data to optimize patient outcomes
• Administer and titrate medications and drips following protocols and physician orders
• Perform advanced life support interventions and participate in emergency responses
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Complete required competency exams and skills checklists to maintain specialty readiness

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (Nursys) required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications listed as required in this assignment
• Experience working in ICU or critical care settings (per diem/contract experience welcome)
• Ability to pass required health screenings and immunizations per facility policy
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills Checklist, and specialty exams as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and bedside monitoring skills
• Familiarity with ventilator management and respiratory support
• Comfort with hemodynamic monitoring and titratable medication drips
• Proficient in ACLS algorithms and emergency response
• Stroke assessment skills including NIHSS
• Accurate electronic documentation and effective clinical communication
• Infection control practices and adherence to facility safety protocols
