Shift Type: AM shift, Per Diem (days vary) — schedule to be confirmed with hiring team
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Provide basic nursing care to non-critical telemetry patients under RN supervision
- Monitor and report telemetry observations and any changes in patient status to the RN
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
- Follow RN direction to ensure individualized, compassionate patient care
- Complete required documentation and participate in unit exams/checklists to maintain competency
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate required upon hire
- Current BLS (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained
- Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP/DCI) certificate required within 6 months of hire and maintained per facility policy
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Nursys verification/registration as required by the facility
- Must meet facility personal health requirements (vaccines, TB, drug screen, fit test, etc.)
Education
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and basic patient care
- Telemetry monitoring awareness and ability to communicate findings clearly
- Strong patient safety focus and infection control practices
- Comfort working under RN direction and within a collaborative team
- Working knowledge of medical terminology relevant to acute care
