Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality critical care using the full nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate and communicate changes in patient status to physicians and the care team
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and act on abnormal findings with confidence
• Deliver patient- and family-centered education to support recovery and discharge planning
• Lead and guide other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care
• Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and documentation in Epic EMR

Qualifications

• Current and valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Epic EMR experience (required)
• Minimum of 1 year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital or critical care setting (required)
• DCI/BVP certification listed as required in the posting
• CCRN certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• ICU care and acute/critical care fundamentals
• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Rhythm interpretation and basic arrhythmia recognition
• Strong patient assessment and nursing process application
• Patient and family education techniques
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and electronic documentation
• Ability to respond rapidly and accurately to clinical changes
