Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Per Diem (flexible nights including weekends)
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity critical care nursing to adult ICU patients with skill and compassion
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, intervene as needed, and escalate changes promptly
- Manage ventilators and advanced life support equipment per unit protocols
- Deliver timely medication administration and documentation with a focus on patient safety
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create and execute individualized care plans
- Participate in competency checks and specialty exams to maintain clinical excellence
- Support unit readiness by completing required checklists and ensuring licensure/certification compliance
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of California (License/Certificate Verification required)
- ICU nursing experience and comfort with high-acuity patients
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- DCI/BVP certification as listed in the job requirements
- Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam as required
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, TB test, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, fit test, drug screen)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in the ICU environment
- Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Accurate medication administration and infusion pump management
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with electronic health records and precise documentation
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining patient-centered care
