Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled outpatient occupational therapy services including evaluations, goal-setting, and individualized treatment plans
• Deliver orthopedic hand therapy interventions and splinting for post-op and conservative management
• Assess and treat pediatric clients with developmental and functional goals in the outpatient setting
• Manage neurological rehabilitation caseloads with evidence-based interventions
• Step in to provide inpatient coverage as needed during busy periods to ensure continuity of care
• Document accurately and timely in Epic to support high-quality, coordinated care
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Current and active Occupational Therapist license eligible for Oregon (OTR/L required)
• BLS certification required
• Comfortable using Epic for documentation and clinical workflows
• Experience in outpatient occupational therapy with orthopedic (hand) therapy preferred
• Experience with pediatrics and neurological rehabilitation a strong plus
• Adaptability to rural/critical access settings and occasional inpatient coverage
• Willingness to complete required health screenings and immunizations (fit test, drug screen, TB/IGRA, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) preferred
• Entry-level occupational therapy degree plus eligibility for Oregon licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in evaluations, treatment planning, and measurable outcomes tracking
• Hands-on skills in splinting, manual therapy, and orthotic fabrication for hand therapy
• Pediatric assessment and intervention strategies across developmental ages
• Neurological rehab techniques for improving function and independence
• Strong documentation skills within Epic and clinical compliance
• Excellent communication, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to thrive in a rural healthcare environment with flexible scope when needed
