Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy evaluations and treatment plans that improve daily living and independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and achieve patient goals
• Document patient progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies and home programs
• Adapt interventions for a variety of diagnoses and functional levels to maximize outcomes
• Contribute to a positive, safety-focused environment and support facility quality initiatives

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in California or eligible for licensure
• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• Experience in rehabilitation or outpatient settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with patients and team members

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (entry-level OTD, Master's, or Bachelor's in OT as applicable) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic techniques to improve activities of daily living and functional mobility
• Knowledge of assessments, documentation standards, and outcome measurement
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and progress them based on patient response
• Comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams and family education
• Familiarity with assistive devices, splinting, and adaptive equipment recommendations
