Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on patient care including activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Assist nursing team with safe patient transfers and mobility support
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the RN promptly
• Document care accurately and keep patient charts up to date
• Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Offer emotional support and respectful communication to patients and families

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Ability to pass background checks and any facility-required screenings
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfort with lifting and physical patient care duties
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to patient-centered care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with ADLs, transfers, and basic patient hygiene
• Familiarity with patient observation and timely reporting
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
