Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care to support daily living activities
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility while preserving dignity
• Take and document vital signs, observe changes and report concerns promptly
• Support feeding and nutritional needs, including safe feeding practices
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care and patient interactions
• Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families and care team to enhance outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Active or eligible for Pennsylvania state CNA listing or reciprocity as applicable
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain promptly
• Comfortable assisting with mobility, transfers and personal care tasks
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Reliable, professional and committed to compassionate patient care

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and activities of daily living
• Skill in taking vital signs and recognizing changes in condition
• Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Proficient in accurate charting and clear communication with care team
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Empathy, patience and the ability to build rapport with patients and families
