Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense community patient prescriptions accurately and efficiently to support safe medication use
• Prepare and distribute medications while maintaining strict attention to detail and patient safety
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare team members to support bedside discharge medications
• Administer or assist with immunizations and medication management services as needed
• Document all pharmacy activities in Epic Willow Ambulatory to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and sterile compounding practices when required
• Provide friendly, patient-centered service and clear medication counseling at the window or over the phone

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician license required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required prior to start
• Experience with Epic Willow Ambulatory required
• Sterile compounding experience preferred
• Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
• Comfortable working rotating weekends and day-shift hours

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of prescription dispensing and community pharmacy operations
• Familiarity with medication distribution workflows and patient safety best practices
• Experience using Epic Willow Ambulatory for documentation and dispensing
• Ability to perform immunizations and support medication management services
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused mindset
• Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask in a busy pharmacy
