Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense community patient prescriptions accurately and efficiently using Epic Willow Ambulatory
• Provide immunizations and support medication management services with a patient-first approach
• Assist pharmacists with hospice prescriptions and special handling requirements
• Participate in medication assistance programs to help patients access needed therapies
• Support sterile compounding processes when required, following safety and quality protocols
• Maintain accurate records, perform required checks, and uphold pharmacy compliance standards
• Communicate clearly with patients and clinical staff to ensure safe medication use

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician license required upon submission
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Epic Willow Ambulatory experience required
• Sterile compounding experience preferred
• Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
• Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required prior to start

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification/license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong prescription dispensing workflows and accuracy mindset
• Familiarity with immunization administration processes and documentation
• Medication management and patient counseling basics
• Experience with hospice prescriptions and special population considerations
• Competency in Epic Willow Ambulatory or similar pharmacy/EMR systems
• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists and the healthcare team
• Attention to detail, safe compounding practices, and record-keeping
