Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, 5 days/week (days vary by rotation): 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM; 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM; 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Call required.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, following established protocols and radiation safety practices
- Perform patient assessments and provide compassionate care and clear instructions before, during, and after imaging
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to support timely, accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate documentation in the imaging information system and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform routine quality control and equipment checks to ensure optimal scanner performance
- Respond to on-call duties as scheduled and assist with emergent imaging needs when required
Qualifications
- Current ARRT RT (N) or NMTCB/CNMT registry credential required
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Nuclear Medicine license required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Strong patient care skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with Nuclear Medicine procedures including PET-CT imaging
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and proper handling of radiopharmaceuticals
- Skill in image acquisition, processing, and basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment
- Familiarity with PACS, imaging information systems, and electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to follow protocols, maintain documentation, and adhere to regulatory requirements
