Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with care and precision to produce high-quality images
• Position patients correctly and apply radiation safety principles for patient and staff protection
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness
• Follow Trinity specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist to meet facility standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and clinical teams to support timely patient diagnosis
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the medical record
• Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and addressing concerns during night shift care

Qualifications

• Current Radiology Technologist licensure or certificate (state-specific verification required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass required screenings: fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, and physical/health statement
• Up-to-date immunizations: Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, COVID-19, Varicella, and 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
• Comfortable working nights and on a holiday rotation; strong reliability and attendance
• Previous experience in radiology or medical imaging is preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification preferred or equivalent credential as required by state

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and imaging techniques
• Radiation safety and infection control best practices
• Patient positioning and care, with attention to comfort and dignity
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems and electronic health records
• Good communication skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently on night shifts while maintaining high standards
