Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures according to established protocols
• Observe patients closely and report adverse reactions to medication or treatment promptly
• Administer medications within scope of practice and facility policy, ensuring safe medication management
• Respond safely and timely to patient requests and escalating concerns to the RN as needed
• Participate in patient care planning and help implement care plans under RN direction
• Identify emergency situations, initiate appropriate nursing measures, and seek assistance when required
• Teach patients self-care techniques and document patient education clearly and professionally

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Experience or comfort working in Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care settings
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend/holiday rotations
• Professional, patient-centered attitude and good communication skills

• Experienced with treatments and procedures common in skilled nursing/LTC
