Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients undergoing cardiac and peripheral procedures with close attention to safety and comfort
• Assist Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and Surgeons during left and right heart caths, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy and atherectomy
• Operate and support imaging and intravascular tools such as IVUS, OCT, Philips laser systems and Siemens Artis Zee C-arms
• Use McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology and Hemodynamic systems to document and support procedures
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care and support safe patient transport between areas
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide responsive care during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Contribute to a collaborative team by assisting with duties as assigned and supporting continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

• Active RN license (eligible or active in Oklahoma) — your clinical license is essential
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS/other certifications a plus
• Previous Cath Lab or interventional cardiac/peripheral experience preferred
• Comfortable with on-call rotations including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Strong patient monitoring and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced procedure environment
• Able to operate or learn imaging and hemodynamic systems (IVUS, OCT, C-arm, McKesson suites)

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Completion of accredited nursing program and active RN license in Oklahoma

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiac catheterization procedures (left/right heart cath, PTCA, stenting)
• Experience with peripheral interventions, carotid and AV graft procedures is a plus
• Familiarity with intravascular imaging (IVUS, OCT) and atherectomy devices
• Comfortable using Philips Laser Systems and Siemens Artis Zee C-arm imaging
• Experience with McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology and Hemodynamic systems
• Strong patient assessment, monitoring and post-procedure care skills
• Team-oriented communication and effective transfer/transport coordination
