Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide continuous airway management and expert ventilator support across populations
• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilators, including PB 980, PB 840 and V60
• Perform patient assessments and consult with physicians to optimize respiratory care
• Deliver high-quality CPR and emergency respiratory interventions when needed
• Use computerized charting and Pyxis medication management accurately and timely
• Support safe patient transport using ParaPac transport ventilators and protocols

Qualifications

• State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License required by start of assignment
• Minimum 2 years' respiratory therapy experience (no first travel assignments)
• BLS, PALS and ACLS required prior to start
• Comfortable caring for adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations
• RRT preferred
• NRP preferred
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start

• Ventilator management and troubleshooting (PB 980, PB 840, V60)
• Non-invasive ventilation and airway management
• Patient care across the lifespan: adult, pediatric, neonatal
• CPR and emergency respiratory interventions
• Computerized charting and Pyxis medication management
