Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators and deliver advanced ventilator care to critically ill patients
• Perform ABG collection and analysis to guide respiratory interventions
• Provide tracheostomy care and high-flow oxygen therapy with precision and compassion
• Assist with intubations and respond quickly during code blue events
• Deliver bronchodilator therapy and airway clearance treatments to improve patient breathing
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and collaborate with the ICU team on care plans
• Safely transport patients and maintain accurate documentation in Meditech
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience (per job posting)
• One year of ICU experience preferred
• Familiarity with ICU equipment and high-acuity protocols

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ventilator management and ventilator modes
• Experience with Drager ventilators and Phillips V60
• Familiarity with Vapotherm and Metaneb systems
• ABG collection and interpretation
• High-flow oxygen therapy and bronchodilator administration
• Airway clearance techniques and trach care
• Intubation assist and code blue response readiness
• Proficient documentation skills in Meditech
• Safe patient transport and ICU workflow knowledge
