Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care for PACU patients with calm, confident clinical judgment
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation and assist with procedures such as cardioversion and TEE
- Continuously monitor telemetry and respond quickly to cardiac changes
- Document patient care accurately using MacLab and Expanse to ensure continuity and safety
- Collaborate with cardiology, echo techs, and EKG techs to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
- Maintain excellent bedside manner and respectful communication to enhance the patient experience
- Support unit workflow for 3-bed PACU operations and help maintain safe patient ratios (2:1 or 1:1 as needed)
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (cardiac/PACU experience preferred)
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current CPR certification required
- Experience with conscious sedation, telemetry monitoring, cardioversion, and TEE
- Familiarity with MacLab and Expanse documentation systems and GE monitors
Education
- Active RN license
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (diploma, ADN or BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- PACU clinical workflows and post-anesthesia assessment
- Conscious sedation monitoring and safety protocols
- Cardiac telemetry interpretation and response
- Cardioversion and TEE procedural support
- Proficient documentation in MacLab and Expanse
- Comfortable with stress treadmill equipment and cardiac testing processes
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused bedside manner
