Shift Type: Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Monday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Rotating day/evening shifts including weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanner and perform high-quality CT studies to support fast, accurate emergency care
- Perform portable and fixed X-ray exams, often as the single technologist covering both modalities
- Triage and prioritize acute stroke imaging to support rapid diagnosis and treatment
- Document studies accurately in Meditech and Sectra and maintain clear communication with the ED team
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, including pediatric patients when needed
- Maintain equipment readiness and report any technical issues for timely resolution
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
- ARRT and ARRT-CT certified (required)
- CPR certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience in an acute care or emergency setting
- Comfortable working independently and often as single-staff coverage for CT and X-ray
- Experience with acute stroke imaging and moderate pediatric volume preferred
- Professional communication skills and ability to work well within a fast-paced ER environment
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred or equivalent technical training
- ARRT and ARRT-CT certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven CT and plain radiography skills
- Familiarity with GE Optima CT and GE portable x-ray equipment
- Experience using Meditech and Sectra for documentation and image access
- Strong acute stroke protocol knowledge and pediatric imaging competence
- Excellent patient care, triage, and communication skills
