Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a Med-Surg unit during 12-hour night shifts
• Perform thorough nursing assessments and collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following facility protocols
• Monitor patient status closely and escalate changes in condition to providers in a timely manner
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and safe transitions of care
• Document care clearly and concisely in the patient record to ensure continuity across shifts
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring colleagues and participating in team-based problem solving

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) — as reflected in job title and primary skills
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (posting lists Experience: 2)
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing (Med Surg / CRPU experience noted)
• Comfort and experience working night shift 12-hour rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Med-Surg clinical knowledge and patient assessment skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Effective clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Clear communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care across disciplines
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation
