Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanners (3T and 1.5T) safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Coordinate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate exam protocols and timely results
- Provide compassionate patient care—screening, positioning, and educating patients before and during scans
- Maintain accurate imaging records in PACS and document procedures in the EMR (Meditech / GE Centricity)
- Troubleshoot basic scanner issues and escalate technical problems when necessary
- Adhere to radiation safety and MRI safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Support unit flow by managing a high daily scan volume (15–20 scans/day) and multitasking under pressure
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of current MRI experience (required)
- Experience with PACS and EMR systems—Meditech and GE Centricity experience is a plus
- Siemens MRI experience preferred (candidates with Siemens experience will be considered first)
- Current state licensure/certification as required (ARRT(MR) or equivalent preferred)
- Strong patient communication skills and ability to manage a fast-paced workload
- Ability to work evenings and provide occasional weekend/on-call coverage
Education
- Completion of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program preferred
- ARRT(MR) certification or state-equivalent credentials preferred/required as applicable
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in MRI scanner operation (3T and 1.5T)
- Familiarity with PACS and image management workflows
- Working knowledge of Meditech and GE Centricity EMR systems
- Strong patient screening and safety practices specific to MRI
- Excellent multitasking and adaptability in a busy radiology environment
- Team-oriented communication and collaboration with radiologists and technologists
