Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in an 11-bed ICU
- Manage ventilators and advanced life support equipment to maintain optimal respiratory function
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and quickly recognize and escalate changes to the team
- Assist physicians with bedside intubations and bronchoscopies to support timely procedures
- Perform and assist with SLED, TEE, and cardioversions as needed for complex cases
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech and communicate handoffs effectively
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Mentor and support teammates to maintain a positive, high-energy unit culture
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (RN required for the role)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Strong experience with ventilator management and cardiac rhythm monitoring
- Comfortable assisting with intubation, bronchoscopy, SLED, TEE and cardioversion
- Experience with Meditech EMR and GE bedside monitoring is a plus
- Excellent critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing fundamentals and ICU procedures
- Ventilator management and ability to titrate support
- Cardiac monitoring and rhythm strip interpretation
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR and GE bedside monitoring systems
- Assisting with advanced procedures (intubation, bronchoscopy, TEE)
- Renal replacement support knowledge (SLED)
- Calm, decisive clinical judgment in high-acuity situations
- Strong teamwork and patient/family communication skills
