Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate GE CT scanners and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform CT procedures and assist with related imaging like MRI and X-ray as needed
• Provide compassionate patient care and ensure patient safety during all procedures
• Follow imaging protocols and optimize scan parameters for accurate diagnostics
• Document procedures and image findings accurately in the EMR (Meditech)
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to support patient care
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience preferred
• ACLS preferred but not required
• RT (T), ASRT, FASRT credentials are a plus
• Experience operating GE CT scanners and familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Ability to work independently, adaptable, and willing to work nights and weekends

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (Associate's degree preferred)
• Current ARRT certification (required) and current BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy
• Familiarity with MRI and X-ray procedures
• Experience operating GE Discovery series scanners
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Comfort working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
• Accurate documentation skills in Meditech or similar EMR systems
• Critical thinking and the ability to work independently
