Shift Type: 4x10-hour day shifts (day shift; specific start/end times vary and are not provided), Call 2-3 days per week plus every 3rd weekend (day coverage)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $72 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert perioperative nursing as the OR circulating RN, ensuring patient safety and seamless surgical flow
- Circulate for orthopedic cases (including total hip and total knee) and a broad mix of general, gynecology, podiatry, urology, ENT and endoscopy procedures
- Manage invasive lines and respiratory support — arterial lines, central lines, IV starts, ventilator and BiPAP care
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and perioperative teammates to coordinate case setup, instrumentation and patient positioning
- Perform thorough pre-op and post-op assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Respond to intraoperative changes and emergencies using current ACLS, PALS and BLS protocols
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, infection prevention and patient-centered outcomes
Qualifications
- Current RN license for New Hampshire (Compact allowed)
- Minimum 2 years of current hospital experience (required)
- Current OR circulation experience with ortho (total hip/total knee), general surgery, gyn, podiatry, urology, ENT and endoscopy (required)
- Demonstrated skills with arterial lines, central lines and IV starts (required)
- Ventilator and BiPAP experience (required)
- Current PALS (required), ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
- BSN preferred
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Submission-ready profile items: work history, skills checklist (current to 1 year), 1 supervisory signed reference from past 2 years, and current licenses & certifications in-hand
- Must not be a local: permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility (include permanent address in submission)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong perioperative and circulating nursing skills
- Proficiency in sterile technique and OR instrumentation
- Ability to manage arterial and central lines and advanced IV therapy
- Comfort with ventilator/BiPAP management and intraoperative airway coordination
- Solid patient assessment and monitoring skills
- Excellent teamwork, communication and documentation abilities
- Familiarity with hospital policies, emergency response and surgical checklists
