Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate ICU nursing care for critically ill patients
• Continuously monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes
• Perform thorough assessments and implement clinical interventions
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to drive patient-focused plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and handoffs
• Act decisively in emergencies and support rapid clinical decision-making
• Educate patients and families with clear, empathetic communication

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC preferred
• Previous ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required (per CAP requirements)

Education

• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong ICU and critical care nursing skills
• Advanced patient monitoring and assessment abilities
• Competence in clinical interventions for acutely ill patients
• Comfort with high-acuity situations and rapid clinical decision-making
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work nights and rotating weekends with a steady, professional approach
