Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient function and needs to create individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions that improve daily living skills
• Document progress clearly and timely in the patient record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families to support safe home transitions
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes and goals
• Maintain professional licensure and certifications while following facility policies

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist within the state of Nebraska (required)
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (required upon hire)
• Desire to grow clinical skills and develop specialty expertise
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional, reliable, and able to adapt to a travel assignment

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in OT assessment and treatment planning
• Knowledge of functional mobility, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment
• Proficient documentation and familiarity with clinical workflows
• Ability to collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs and other team members
• Patient- and family-centered education techniques
• Clinical problem solving and outcome-driven care
