Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality med/surg nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Follow physician orders and hospital policies to deliver safe, evidence-based care
• Work independently to manage patient assignments and prioritize clinical needs
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients' families
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and response to treatment

Qualifications

• Current, full and unrestricted Registered Nursing license to practice in any U.S. state, territory, or Puerto Rico
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute facility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (current)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (current)
• TCAR (Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation) to be completed within six months of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) to be completed within six months of hire
• Comfortable working independently and following established standards of care and physician orders

Knowledge & Skills

• Med/Surg and acute care nursing skills
• Clinical nursing fundamentals and strong patient care focus
• Ability to follow standards of care, policies, and physician directives
• Experience with trauma care principles and outpatient/ambulatory procedures
• Familiarity with TCAR and NIHSS processes (or willingness to complete within required timeframe)
• Strong clinical judgment, time management, and clear documentation skills
