Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray examinations accurately and efficiently
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment safely when required, per licensing
- Individualize patient care based on age and developmental needs
- Position patients and adjust imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to support diagnosis and treatment
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of procedures and patient information
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and department policies
- Assist with equipment upkeep and report any technical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Fluoroscopy license (required)
- CT certification (required)
- X-ray certification (required)
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care across age groups
- Comfort working variable 4/10 schedules and adapting to shift changes
Knowledge & Skills
- CT imaging techniques and protocols
- X-ray and fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety
- Diagnostic imaging principles and image evaluation
- Patient positioning and compassionate patient care
- Basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment
- Clear communication with multidisciplinary clinical teams
