Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans that restore function and independence
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions including exercise, manual therapy, and gait training
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records in the EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention
- Monitor outcomes and modify plans of care to achieve optimal results
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Arizona or eligible for state licensure
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic and managing a diverse caseload
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered mindset
- Ability to pass background check and any required credentialing
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and development of measurable treatment plans
- Therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
- Manual therapy techniques and hands-on skills
- Gait training and use of assistive devices
- Proficient clinical documentation and familiarity with EMR systems
- Collaborative teamwork and effective patient/family education
