Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care and advocate for patient needs
• Perform thorough assessments and develop clear, evidence-based care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring for effects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate timely patient discharge
• Educate patients and families so they feel confident in their care plan
• Document clinical findings and interventions clearly in the electronic health record
• Identify and escalate changes in patient condition to ensure timely intervention

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or med-surg nursing experience preferred
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care with strong communication skills
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic health records; Epic experience is a plus
• Infection control and safety best practices
• Strong teamwork, time management, and patient education skills
