Roles & Responsibilities

• Answer call lights promptly and respond to residents with compassion
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including toileting, transferring, bathing, and grooming
• Obtain vitals, weights, and other routine health information accurately
• Monitor residents and report any changes in condition to the nurse
• Support a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for every resident
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation immediately to the charge nurse
• Perform other patient-centered duties as requested to enhance resident quality of life

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required and must be maintained
• Current BLS certification required for night shift
• 1+ year of related work experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow facility policies and collaborate with nursing staff
• Successful background check and required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Compassionate resident care and strong interpersonal communication
• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and safe resident transfers
• Accurate vitals collection and basic charting
• Ability to recognize and report changes in resident condition
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in daily tasks
