Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams with accuracy and attention to detail
- Position patients and prepare equipment while following radiation-safety protocols
- Ensure clear, accurate imaging and timely documentation in the patient record
- Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and clinical staff to optimize patient care
- Provide compassionate patient education and support to reduce anxiety and improve outcomes
- Maintain and sanitize imaging equipment and workspaces to meet infection-control standards
- Adhere to departmental policies and regulatory requirements to keep patients and staff safe
Qualifications
- ARRT certification — required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) — required
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technologist program (Associate degree or equivalent)
- State licensure where applicable (please have licensure or ability to obtain)
- Previous radiography experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as part of onboarding
- Dependable, professional, and able to meet Regional West performance expectations
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or accredited equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging protocols
- Familiarity with radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Comfortable using PACS and electronic medical record systems
- Good patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance awareness
