Candidate Pay Rate: Competitive pay; private shared housing option available with adjusted rate of $85.00/hr when housing is provided

Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the operating room environment as the OR circulator, keeping cases moving smoothly
- Support orthopedic, endodontic, and general surgery cases by anticipating team needs and preparing instruments and supplies
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through vigilant monitoring and adherence to sterile technique
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff to maintain excellent patient outcomes
- Document perioperative care accurately and timely in the patient record
- Maintain inventory, prepare implants and specialty instruments, and help with turnover efficiency
- Serve as a patient advocate — communicate needs, concerns, and status clearly to the team and family
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or eligible for Colorado RN licensure
- Strong orthopedic surgery experience is required — you know ortho cases inside and out
- Previous experience as an OR circulator or equivalent perioperative role
- Current BLS required; CNOR or specialty perioperative certifications preferred
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to follow sterile technique and perioperative safety protocols consistently
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Depth of knowledge in orthopedic surgical procedures, implants, and instrumentation
- Proficient in sterile technique and OR infection control practices
- Comfortable with perioperative documentation and basic EHR charting
- Strong situational awareness, multitasking, and prioritization under pressure
- Collaborative approach to working with surgical, anesthesia, and support teams
