Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality CT exams while maintaining excellent patient care and comfort
• Operate CT and radiography equipment safely and accurately to produce diagnostic images
• Adapt quickly to working across the main hospital and multiple walk-in care sites
• Support off-site locations by handling patient registration and light clerical duties as needed
• Ensure image quality and protocol adherence, collaborating with radiologists and the imaging team
• Maintain equipment and supply readiness, and document procedures in the medical record
• Help create a positive patient experience by communicating clearly and compassionately

Qualifications

• ARRT registered (required)
• Maine RT licensure (required)
• CT experience is a must; please do not apply without CT experience
• BLS certification (required)
• Comfortable working across multiple sites and flexible with location/shift changes
• Experience or interest in Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, C-arm and Portable Radiography is a plus

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong CT technical skills and CT protocol knowledge
• Solid general radiography fundamentals
• Patient care skills and the ability to communicate with diverse patients
• Experience with portable imaging and multi-site workflows
• Basic clerical and registration skills for off-site support
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to changing schedules
