Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality CT exams while maintaining excellent patient care and comfort
- Operate CT and radiography equipment safely and accurately to produce diagnostic images
- Adapt quickly to working across the main hospital and multiple walk-in care sites
- Support off-site locations by handling patient registration and light clerical duties as needed
- Ensure image quality and protocol adherence, collaborating with radiologists and the imaging team
- Maintain equipment and supply readiness, and document procedures in the medical record
- Help create a positive patient experience by communicating clearly and compassionately
Qualifications
- ARRT registered (required)
- Maine RT licensure (required)
- CT experience is a must; please do not apply without CT experience
- BLS certification (required)
- Comfortable working across multiple sites and flexible with location/shift changes
- Experience or interest in Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, C-arm and Portable Radiography is a plus
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong CT technical skills and CT protocol knowledge
- Solid general radiography fundamentals
- Patient care skills and the ability to communicate with diverse patients
- Experience with portable imaging and multi-site workflows
- Basic clerical and registration skills for off-site support
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to changing schedules
