Roles & Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely to keep payments on schedule
• Match purchase orders, invoices and receipts and resolve discrepancies
• Enter invoice and payment data into accounting software with careful attention to detail
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end closing activities
• Communicate professionally with vendors to clarify billing questions and resolve issues
• Maintain organized AP records and support continuous process improvements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience
• Proven experience with accounting software and strong Excel skills
• Excellent organizational skills and solid math ability
• Comfortable working on-site in San Ysidro, CA for the duration of the assignment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, focused team

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Accounts payable processes and best practices
• Familiarity with accounting software (entering invoices, coding, AP workflows)
• Proficient Excel skills — functions, filtering, and basic data validation
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and record-keeping
• Good vendor communication and problem-solving abilities
