Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams across adult and pediatric populations with accuracy and compassion
• Operate surgical and mobile imaging equipment (C-Arm, O-ARM) in perioperative and bedside settings
• Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol and document procedures thoroughly
• Chart exams and patient interactions clearly and promptly in Epic
• Adhere to radiation safety practices and infection prevention protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate closely with ED, ICU, OR and inpatient teams to support timely, patient-centered care
• Provide excellent care for neonates, infants and pediatric patients when required
• Participate in on-call rotation and flex to unit needs within the established schedule

Qualifications

• Current Oregon state radiologic technologist license required
• BLS required
• ARRT (R) certification preferred
• Fluoro Permit preferred
• Minimum 1 year of radiography experience in a large acute care hospital (experience at a facility similar to Providence Saint Vincent preferred)
• Comfortable charting in Epic (preferred)
• Experience with portable/bedside procedures, trauma, and surgical imaging (C-Arm) preferred
• Willingness to work night block schedules and participate in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiation safety and safe patient positioning
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• Infection prevention and isolation precautions/PPE
• Portable imaging and bedside procedures
• Musculoskeletal, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax and extremity imaging
• Fluoroscopy studies and familiarity with ERCP, upper GI and contrast enema procedures
• Experience with PACS, Carestream, Philips, GE and O-ARM systems
• Accurate Epic charting and clear interdisciplinary communication
